1. CAN I USE MY CREDIT CARD?

Yes, you may use MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover.

2. I ALREADY GET A GREAT DISCOUNT, WHY SHOULD I USE YOURFREIGHTRATE.COM?

We have our own private tariff with built-in rate reducing mechanisms including class reducing FAK’s.

3. WHEN SHOULD I USE A COMMON CARRIER?

A good rule of thumb to help you decide is if a shipment weighs between 150 lbs and 10,000 lbs.

4. CAN I ESTIMATE THE WEIGHT OF THE SHIPMENT?

Yes, however most shipments are re-weighed by the carriers and if the weight is incorrect, rate adjustments should be expected.

5. CAN I USE MY OWN BILL OF LADING?

To ensure proper rate application please use the bill of lading provided by the YOURFREIGHTRATE tendering process. Your own Bill of Lading can be used as a packing slip.

6. CAN I SCHEDULE A SHIPMENT AND HAVE IT PICKED UP THE SAME DAY?

Shipments scheduled prior to 2:30 pm are usually picked up the same business day.

7. WHAT IS AN NMFC NUMBER?

This is a number used to identify freight classes. Customer service can help you with this is you are not sure.

8. WHAT IF MY SHIPMENT IS DAMAGED?

Freight claims are between the shipper, consignee and carrier. Customer service will be happy to help you with this process in the rare incidence of damage or loss.

9. ARE MY RATES GUARANTEED?

Al l shipments are subject to carrier inspections concerning description, services rendered and weight.

10. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO USE YOURFREIGHTRATE?

Our services are free to the shipper and consignee!

11. CAN I TRACK MY SHIPMENT?

Complete tracking information for all shipments is available right on the YFR website!

12. CAN I EXPEDITE MY SHIPMENT?

Yes. Just call customer service 1-866-726-2715 for any special request.
